About Kirsten

I am a photographer with over 20 years of professional experience, 18 of them spent as a university lecturer. I have worked creatively across portrait, wedding and commercial industries and my work as an art photographer has been shown around the world, most recently at ArtExpo in Milan. When not actively seeking creative collaborative excitement of all forms, I am a mother to three loud, sassy kids. After years of helping other photographers and artists reach their potential, I have a head full of useful information, so please let me know if you want to me to share it with you. You can find me at www.kirstenheritage.com.

My creative work blurs the line between reality and the world of our dreams. By emphasizing aesthetics, I examine the dynamics of landscape, including what the physical environment may mean to the viewer. Rather than presenting a factual reality, an illusion is fabricated to conjure the realms of our imagination; a link between the landscape’s reality and that imagined by its conceiver. Time and memory play a key role. Who are we? Where are we?
